Gracie is very affectionate, adores her humans, and she particularly loves children! She is completely housetrained, is not destructive, and loves sleeping in her foster parent's bedroom at the foot of the bed. Her indoor manners are quite good, and she'd be the perfect companion to share your home. She gets along well with all the other dogs in her foster home. Gracie would rather have your attention than anything, and loves nothing better than spending time with her humans. She will patiently wait for you while you're out, but once you're home, be prepared for a happy dance and lots of tail wags. She's very bright, and can learn anything as long as treats and praise are given. Clancy was seen falling out of the back of a pick-up truck in Wilmington, NC. A local kind-hearted veterinarian came to Clancy’s rescue and he recovered from his injuries with no lasting problems. Clancy is now looking for his forever home. Clancy is an active dog. He loves playing with other dogs as well as people. But he also appreciates a good nap and is a great snuggler. Like many hounds, he is nothing more than a clown - play bowing and stealing socks are part of his daily routine. He is always excited to see his people at the door when they come home. He is house trained, leash trained, and knows sit-stay-come (sometimes!). He is not a dominant dog and seems to get along well with new dogs. We have not seen how he interacts with cats. Clancy needs a home where he will be given lots of attention and lots of walks/exercise. He bonds well with his owners and is very dedicated and true. He also loves to ride in the car, just not the back of a pick-up truck!

Sponge Bob is a loving, 6-month old puppy who has not had many rules during the first few months of his life, when he was given as a Christmas present to young children. Carolina Care Bullies was asked for help when the landlord changed policies and wanted this sweet pit mix pup out of his property.
In foster care, Sponge Bob is blossoming! We found out that to stay quiet in his crate, the crate must be covered in blankets so he can't see you or other doggies. We also learned he is protective over his food, but again, only around other dogs! He lets us take food from his bowl and even once took a pizza crust out of his mouth. He also does not mind sharing his Nylabones and toys with us.
We figure he is so triggered by the *sight* of dogs and people passing by his crate is because this little boy is deaf! You dont notice much, except that he wont come when called. A tap on his butt, or using your finger or arms to motion him to you does just the trick! He is currently taking classes in obedience using hand signals and doing great!
Sponge Bob is a heart stealer! He is typically a very calm & well-behaved boy. He loves to sleep / "konk out" on car rides, and walks nicely on a leash. Sponge Bob does well with submissive female dogs and would probably appreciate a sweet female pal to grow up with. He also was very respectful of his grumpy foster sibling chihuahuas!

This is one dog who eagerly does whatever you want him to, whether it’s obedience, walks, rides in the car…anything, as long as it’s with his people. Dugan is perpetually happy and it’s hard to feel blue whenever he’s around. He is extremely bright and loves to show off what he knows, and to learn new things. He already knows “Sit”, “Down”, “Crawl”, “Spin” and “Twirl”. Dugan would love to spend his days with an active family, and would surely enjoy having a “girlfriend” to pal around with. Billy possesses a high IQ and will "work for food"! He is not difficult to train, particularly if you have some cheese in your hand. Billy is demurely manipulative when he pleads for attention. Emily is an adorable girl with a sunny disposition. She is the social director for her foster siblings, and is always right in the middle of all the canine activities. She loves toys, and is always exploring her environment for new things to play with. She loves her foster family, and is very devoted to them. She is initially a little reluctant with strangers, but quickly gets past that, and makes them her friends. While playful and affectionate, Emily can also be mellow, and after a short period of cuddling she's likely to wander off to lie in her bed for a short nap. Emily is an active girl, and loves to play. She would probably be best suited for a home with a fenced yard and at least one other playful dog to have fun with.

Evie is lively, lovable, and happy. She loves to race around the yard playing with her foster siblings one minute, and lounge comfortably enjoying belly-rubs from her people the next. She loves being the "couch potato" as well as the "Olympic athlete." She loves to fetch balls and chase the ever elusive frisbee, and her favorite activity is leaping through the air in a vain attempt to catch the ever illusive fireflies that inhabit her play yard. Of course, snuggle time comes in at a close second. At just a year old, Evie would be a good companion for someone who enjoys water and outdoor activities. Whatever you decide to do, she's right there to join in. Evie gets along great with her foster siblings and after an initial introduction, she is comfortable with most strangers. Evie is housetrained and is a low shedder. Evie is current with her vaccinations, takes monthly Heartguard, has been spayed and microchipped, and is ready to be your new best buddy.

Snickers is an endearing sweetheart with eyes that penetrate your heart. He is always the cheerful and smiling dog, forever wagging his tail. Snickers is a playful boy, but very gentle with people. Belly rubs send him into a trance every time. This loveable fellow would be best in a home without children.
Snickers has glaucoma and is blind in one eye. He will require daily eye drops and monitoring for any changes in his condition throughout his lifetime.
